Pain, disappointment, suffering, and grief find each of us. Worse, during such times, God often seems far away and hard for us to find when we need Him the most. Where is He? Why is God letting this happen? How can I go on? When these questions arise, we sometimes feel we should have more faith, even as we feel abandoned by God in His silence.
Is God really silent? If not, how can we hear Him? You are not alone in struggling with these questions. Come and join Rev. Elizabeth Moreau to discover how Christ seeks you in the middle of life’s dark moments and gives you hope.
This 6-week study will be held at Kingwood United Methodist Church in room E201 located upstairs in the central building. Child care, children’s activities and KUMC’s Student Ministry all go on at that same time, and we start the evening with a meal called The Table in the Gym beginning at 5pm where kids eat free and adults are $4-$5 per person for more food than you can eat. Kingwood UMC is located at 1799 Woodland Hills Drive, Kingwood, TX 77339. You can RSVP to Kelly Glowacky by e-mail or calling (281) 358-2137. Kingwood UMC Membership is NOT required to attend, but if you want a place to worship our amazing God with others please consider this an invitation to explore.
Hope to see you there.
